Dear Emma, Mommy loves you so very much! You have taught me so much about life and love already! I am so thankful you are my daughter. You are a special Daughter of God. He chose you to start your life this way, in a way that has touched so many people's lives! I have been humbled by the outpouring of love from friends and strangers alike for you, our precious Miracle. Even though Oliver isn't fighting this fight in this life I know he is beside you cheering you on. Giving you strength even when you don't want to go on! He has done that for me too. Whenever life gets too much, know that you can lean on your Savior, Jesus Christ. He will take your burdens and make them light. He will carry you when you are too weary to continue on. I have learned that lesson in this trial of having you so early. You are an amazing and beautiful girl, you can do whatever you put your mind to do. Connor, Kira and Jadyn all love you so very much, they can't wait for you to join us at home! They pray for you every day! I love you My sweet baby girl! Love, Mommy
I
am just so encouraged by Emma's progress. She has come so far. When
she was born I was so worried about her and would come on FB bracing
myself for bad news about her. Now after all these many weeks I come on
here and I am excited to read about her progress and her achievements.
She is a special little girl who will do great things in her life! And
you my dear Daree
are one of the most patient and compassionate Mommas I have ever had
the blessing to know and call my friend. You are amazingly strong and
determined to do what is the best for your children. I admire you and
love you so much for being that example to all of us other Moms. I ♥ you! -Jennifer Bray
Miss Emma, thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your mom is one
of the most amazing people I have ever met, she has such amazing faith.
Thank you for letting us include you in our prayers. It is so amazing to
see my children pray for someone they have never met. You are a
beautiful little girl and I am excited to see you grow up. Thank you! -Meghan Richardson
There are no words that will
express what a blessing this little angel has been to so many. How she
has strengthened our faith and dependence on prayer. Thanks you for
sharing this little ones journey, and giving us this great blessing. -Diane Darrow Hancock.
Daree, I'm so glad that I am friends with your sister, who had made me
feel so much a part of your. Its special to me. Spent Thanks giving, and
Christmas too:) absolutely love it. In this hard time I am blessed to be
by your families side through all of this, the passing of Dear sweet
Oliver and I have prayed better these day then I in a very long time. In
small ways Emma has given me the motivation to be more active in my
personal. And daily praying. Major improvement for me. I just want you
to know, I'm hear for you. Love lots. Btw I look forward and appeiciate
all your Blake Family Updates♥ -Shannon Garcia
It has been extraordinary to watch her develop...to watch LIFE itself
develop outside the womb. The strength and resiliency these tiny tiny
babies have amazes me in ways I don't understand. I am not religious at
all and often stand in amazement at what medical technology can do and
achieve. But I do know it is not just medicine that it takes-the human
connection is just as important. She is amazing and I'm in awe every
day at this living miracle. Thank YOU for posting updates on your
family.-Shannon Branson
Dear Sweet Emma, What does one say to a miracle? By now, your
sweet mother is reading this note to you or you have grown old enough to
read this yourself. I want you to know you, your mother and father have
taught me and so many others life long lessons since your and your
brothers birth. That not only do miracles happen, but to rejoice in the
small steps forward and to have faith and determination when life sets
us back. You, dear Emma, are strong, you are beautiful, and you have
moved mountains in your infancy. Remember when life gets hard the story
of your birth, remember Oliver, and stand in righteousness and you will
be able to continue to move mountains! Love, Cherie Eastham
Dear Emma, You are a true miracle! You beat the odds and are
such a strong fighter! It has been amazing to watch your journey through
the updates your Mommy posts for friends and family. The highlight of
my days have been to see how good you are doing! You have impacting so
many people's lives by just being you! You are a true blessing. You are
also so very blessed to have a wonderful family believing in you. Always
know what an amazing Mommy you have. She has been through a lot but has
stayed so strong just for you. Thank you for touching our lives! Love, Traci Willoughby
I wanted you to know one of Nina's classmates mom's came up to me today
and asked about Emma. She told me a close friend of her's had the same
thing happen. Twins born at about 25 week boy and girl, little boy
passed away and the girl is now a perfect 24 year old young lady with no
complications. Now this was 24 years ago and she made it! That is a
miracle and they happen everyday. A complete stranger wanted you to
know her story to give you more hope. Anything is possible! Emma and
Oliver have truly touched so many people. They both had a special
purpose, Emma just needs longer in this life to finish her work then
Oliver did. We love you guys and I'm so sorry we can't be there for his
funeral tomorrow. Thank you for sharing the pictures and I cried the
entire time I looked at them. Can't wait to give you a big hug and know
I will be present with you tomorrow even though I'm not physically
there. Try to get some rest and I will call you tomorrow evening.
Loves and Hugs, Melissa
